Tungnath Temple

Haridwar has very rich very old religious and cultural heritage. Sited in the foothills of the Himalayas, Haridwar is a tourist hot-spot. Deoria Tal

Devariya Tal is also written as Deoria Tal or Devariyatal is an emerald lake perched at an elevation of 2438 mts above sea level. During early morning on a clear day, Devariya Tal blesses the tourists with reflections of Chaukhamba peaks on its crystal clear water.

Chopta

Chopta is a picturesque hamlet which is still unexplored by travelers. It is the commencement point of the trek to Tungnath - 3rd Kedar and further a 1.5 km trek from Tungnath leads to Chandrashila (4000mts above sea level) which offers 360� panoramic view of snow clad Himalayan peaks including Nanda Devi, Trishul and Chaukhamba.

Ukhimath

Ukhimath is a pilgrimage site in Rudraprayag district, Uttarakhand, India. It is at an elevation of 1311 metres and at a distance of 41 km from Rudraprayag. During the winters, the idols from Kedarnath temple, and Madhyamaheshwar are brought to Ukhimath and worshipped there for six months.

Chandrashila

Chandrashila is summit of the Tungnath . It literally means "Moon Rock". It is located at a height of about 4,000 metres (13,000 ft) above sea level. This peak provides a spectacular view of Himalayas,especially Nandadevi, Trisul, Kedar Peak, Bandarpunch and Chaukhamba peaks.

Rudranath mandir

Rudranath Mandir is a rock temple that is located in the Chamoli District nearby Chopta village. One of the Panch Kedars, Lord Shiva is worshipped as Neelkanth in this temple. Vaitrani River also known as the 'Water of Salvation' flows behind the Rudranath Temple.
